In his History of San Mateo County, 1928, Roy Cloud says on page 453, "Joseph F De Bennedetti was appointed postmaster of Half Moon Bay... Mr De Benneditti was later a Supervisor from the Fourth Township.and one of the best known men of that section". Dated Sept 12, 1885. Regards, Tagg
