Oliwa of South San Francisco died Tuesday in South San Francisco. He was a native of Hawaii. He is survived by his wife, Ethel; two sons, Bert Ethelbert Tanaka of Hawaii and Bernard Oliwa, Jr. of San Mateo; two daughters, Faith Rusher of San Francisco and Elbera Oliwa of South San Francisco; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chan Seto of Honolulu, and seven grandchildren. Private funeral services were held at Nauman and Lincoln Mortuary in South San Francisco followed by inurnment at Cypress Law Cemetery.
