I searched the San Mateo times 4/23 - 4/26 1934 which is online through the Godrey Library and didn't come up with a mention of his death. I show The Palo Alto News 1926-1938 is available at the CA room of the state library in Sacramento....also the Stanford Daily and The Palo Alto Sun Nov 1933 - Oct 1935.....
