Burch. He & wife Ellen are listed in the 1880 Twp. #5, San Mateo Co., Calif. federal census, he was 52, b: NY and a farmer and Ellen, was age 41, b: NY. Known children were: Charles E., Maria A., Sarah E., Lewis A. & Frederick R. Everett does not appear in the 1900 census with his wife & children so I suspect he died between 1880 & 1900. The rest of the family went on to live & die in Seattle, Wash. What is Township #5 now known as and are there any cemetery / tombstone records for that area?
