Francis was a granduncle to me. Francis Thomas Sheedy was born about 1893 in NY state, but moved to the San Mateo, CA area in adulthood. His wife was Dorotha (maiden surname unknown). Later in his career he moved to southern California where he worked and where he and Dorotha had a son Jack (possibly John) Sheedy. Jack/John married Maureen (maiden surname unknown). Francis Thomas Sheedy died on July 24, 1979 in Santa Monica, CA. Dorotha Sheedy died in 1971. Francis was a resident of Woodland Hills, CA at the time of his death. Francis and Dorotha are both buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, CA. Jack Sheedy worked in/ran a photography agency in or near Los Angeles in the 1970s. Jack and his wife Maureen raised two children. Family sources suggest the children may have been raised in or near Thousand Oaks, CA.
