Frank's wife may have been Hilda. No knowledge of any children. He was born in Sumter or Brownton, McLeod county, Minnesota, around 1880, son of William & Albertine Augusta Eberhardt. I'm hoping his obituary will mention his parents - his father William Eberhardt is said to have died in California around 1913, possibly in San Jose, but can't find him out there. Any suggestions how to check a newspaper obit, or does anyone do look-ups in the area? Is there an on-line resource to use in narrowing down the search? Thanks for any advice!

Linda, Hi. You are probably more likely to find a volunteer if you have a little more data as to the death locations for each of these persons. from the CA death index........ LAMBERT CLIFTON T 1917 01 03 mothers name- NEAL MALE TE SAN MATEO 1968 04 11 069090674 51 LAMBERT DELORES CECELIA 1922 11 19 GRANT LANDRY FEMALE ME LOS ANGELES 1990 01 25 018145724 67 and from SSDI... DELORIS C LAMBERT 19 Nov 1922 Jan 1990 90505 (Torrance, Los Angeles, CA) (none specified) 018-14-5724 Massachusetts So it appears Clifton T LAMBERT died Apr 11, 1968 in San Mateo County, CA. (If you know the exact town, that would help, too) And Delores C LAMBERT died Jan 25, 1990 in Torrance, Los Angeles Co, CA. If you find no volunteers in either of those counties, you might try emailing a branch of the San Mateo Co Library in northern California, and, likewise, the Torrance library in Los Angeles County. good luck, MeLani --I am looking for someone who may go to the library in San --Mateo ca and in los angeles co ca and do a lookup for me -- CLIFTON T LAMBERT --DIED 4/11/1968 AND IS BURIED IN CA. --ALSO --DELORES CECELIA DIED 1/25/1990 MAY BE THE WIFE OF CLIFTON T LAMBERT. --They are kin to me . Although none of the "possible" children are in my Toso line, they may well be related. At this point, I think I have to determine whether my grandparents may have married in Italy before my grandfather and his brothers came to the States. Maybe he came here to get settled before he sent for her. Thank you again for the info. What doesn't show up is sometimes just as important as what does!

Anderson Helen Anderson died Nov. 10, 2004, in Fair Oaks. She was 92. A memorial service will begin at 4 p.m. Monday at the Lutheran Church of the Incarnation, 1701 Russell Blvd. Born in Daly City June 19, 1912, the second of three children of Fred and Julianne Marie Andersen, she lived and worked in San Francisco and on the peninsula for more than 70 years. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School in Daly City, and attended the College of San Mateo and San Francisco State College, completing a master's degree in early childhood education. She was a career civil servant, working for federal, state and city governments throughout Northern California, including 25 years working for the health department in San Francisco. She viewed her professional work as an audiologist as a joyful service to the children of San Francisco, moving daily from school to school to ensure that the city's children were hearing well. In 1985, she moved to Davis to be close to her two grandchildren, living in Davis and Fair Oaks for most of the last 20 years. Her interests included collecting dolls and antiques, buying and selling homes, and volunteering in her community. Her family says she maintained friendships from her earliest childhood that lasted throughout her life, and in each of her social and work settings expanded the number of warm, ongoing connections that were such a personal joy for her. Notable among those were her memberships in three church communities: West Portal Lutheran Church in San Francisco, Hope Lutheran Church in Daly City and the Lutheran Church of the Incarnation in Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, George RW Anderson, who died in 1968. She is survived by her son, Robert Anderson, his wife Karen Anderson and their two children, Nicholas and Catherine, all of Fair Oaks. She is further survived by her sister, Selma Masch, of San Mateo. The family requests that contributions be sent to the Lutheran Church of the Incarnation, 1701 Russell Blvd. in Davis. Check out some of the Adoption websites. Do you know a date and a place? Most states, adoption records are still sealed and the person may not know they are adopted. If you don't know the original date, try to find out at least a year and month and place. California has a place in their general websites where you can look for adopted siblings...a kind of message board...I don't know about other states.
