Dwyer was in the Navy during WWII stationed with my father in Borneo where they and some other sailors in the Naval Advanced Base Unit (NABU 12) were tent-mates. Over the years my dad has tried to locate some of his old Navy buddies--but usually, as in this case, he hasn't found them until they've already passed away. If any of Rev. Dwyer's children see this posting, please know that your dad is still fondly remembered by an old Navy buddy who was very sad to hear of his untimely passing . . . (I would also like to hear from you).
