One German paper has it, "Im Jahre 1887 siedelte er mit seiner Familie nach Geneseo, San Luis Obispo Countn, Cal" [In the year 1887 he settled with his family towards Geneseo, San Luis Obispo County, California] Where George Boehner Sr. lived was called "the old Feenstra place" because the FEENSTRAS owned the property after the Boehners and before Henry KLINTWORTH bought it. Does anyone now living in SLO have any "light" to shed on this location. I understand a shack/house was on that property but torn down when it became old and rickety. I was also told a barn outlived the house quite some time but that even it has now been taken down. Emma KLINTWORTH NIELSEN in the late 1970's gave me a picture of the barn and a couple of old square nails she took from the place.
