Sally, Mandatory registration of deaths did not start until 1905, if you found the mortuary record that may be all there was. These CAN include the #, date of burial, name, sex, age, occupation, place of death, cause of death, place of burial, physician and undertaker. Some had no death date given. There is also an index to probate and wills at the Superior Court Clerk Office, I think I have some of the index I just have to find the right box, or go to SLO and check. Isaac does not appear in the Thomas Workman Temple III Index to California Mission Vital Records. I will keep the name in my research log and look around when I go to SLO. Doreen
