    2. >From the San Luis Obispo County Telegram - Tribune San Luis Obispo, California Thursday, May 3, 1984 Alexander Harry Lindquist, a long-time resident of San Luis Obispo, died Monday in a San Luis Obispo hospital. He was 84. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in San Luis Obispo. The Rev. Duane Kirchner of Peace Lutheran Church in Arroyo Grande will officiate. Mr. Lindquist was born February 27, 1900, in Sweden. He had been a salesman in groceries. He was a member of the San Luis Obispo Elks Lodge for 23 years and was a veteran of World Wars I and II, serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. Lindquist is survived by a daughter, Gaynell Brekke of Arroyo Grande; a sister, Astrid Swanson of Fla.; and two grandchildren. His wife, Bertha Lindquist, died in 1980. Sunset Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
