Hi everyone, I am hoping someone can help with my quest to find the JESPERSEN's. I am descended from JEP HANSEN JESPERSEN who was born circa 1838 in Aabenraa, Schleswig Holstein, Denmark. Jep came to Australia about 1860, married and died here. This is as far as I have been able to go on this line - I have been unable so far to find a record of his birth etc. although I do have a death certificate stating his parents were Anna Christina Hansen and Christian Jespersen (I am suspicious of this information due to naming patterns of the Danes). I also have in my possession a copy of a photo of a very large family clan standing beside what appears to be an frame for an oil well ???, water stand or something. Beside the photo are the words "Jep's brother who went to San Luis Obispo". No further details are mentioned. I am hoping someone may also be looking for this family, and if so please contact me and perhaps we can help each other. Cheers, Catherine
