My grandfather, John William Pfost, died in San Luis Obispo General Hospital in 1966. He was in his early sixties. No next of kin was noted. He and my grandmother had been divorced since the early thirties. I have all the basic information I have for him. I am looking for further information, especially any stories about him, where he was and in what condition he was that precipitated his hospital stay. I am wondering if anyone could tell me how difficult it would be to access any hospital files on John William Pfost, and not broaching his confidentiality, and where I could get them. I don't know him. My mother never knew him. I would like to understand things better than just what I have been told. Thank you, Judith Woodson Martin
