Died in 07/1962. Born in 1882. Is buried, I think, in Cambria, but we moved and I haven't been back up that way Also, my grandmother Avis Hamilton died in 03/1963. Born in 3/29/1890. If you could find an obit on either one, I'd be thrilled. I've lost all of my previous generation of family, so I have no one to ask about any of these people. Thank you

They are working on a way to block her, but she keeps finding ways to get around the filters. The SUMNERs came on a wagon train in 1842 to what became Oregon. 1843 George DAVIS married to Eliza SUMNER at Sutter's Fort. DAVIS's said to be in Sacramento in 1850 census. Then went to CA coast, eventually settling in San Louis Obispo. George and Eliza had several children including Buchanan DAVIS who owned land in San Louis Obispo. Was a friend of my parents. I do not have a death certificate, but if you need the obit there was a lengthly one run in the Paso Robles Press. Some one in San Luis Obispo city area may be willing to obtain one for you, but the County Recorder's address is 1144 Monterey. I can call for the charges, but it is only a few dollars.
