Twenty-five years ago he found them in a small antique footstool he bought at a church sale. He put them away, unread, until I looked at them today. They cover the years 1911 to 1946 and consist of letters, deeds, notes, pictures, clippings, etc. It provides a fascinating life chronicle and is something that any genealogist would love to discover for their family. I am sending this in hopes of returning this little treasure to the family. The names which appear are HATTON, ZOLLINGER, MADDEN and the actress Maude AMBER (stage name?).
