    3. Donna, I am in Illinois so can't do any legwork for you, but will mention that I found myself in similar situation. My great great grandmother did not appear on the CADI and I was quite certain that she had died in CA. It turns out that she had died while visiting relatives in another part of the state and then the body was removed to her hometown for burial. Somehow she was missed on the index. I finally found her by calling the cemetery where I had determined her spouse was buried--she was there also.
