August 20, 1830 in Ohio and d. October 18, 1932 in Stockton, CA. His parents were John and Mary (Bodfield) Turner who were both buried in or near Stockton/French Camp. James married Elizabeth Hannah Blosser ca 1851 in San Andreas, CA. I don't know any info on Elizabeth, but I do know that James traveled with the BLOSSER family from Iowa. It wasn't until James was living around San Andreas that he finally decided to settle down. Any help with this family would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Heidi Hafner
