An obituary would tell you the names of surviving children.....what was Mrs. Edgar Hightower's address at the time of John's death? did the wife Anna survive him or don't you know what happened to her? I would say it's a good possibility that this is the John Hightower you are searching for - the birth information is given by the informant and it's possible that she didn't know the exact year of his birth....but the birthday is correct.....glad to see you left a message on the CADI website - maybe another Hightower researcher will contact you..... are any of the Edgar Hightower listings in CADI a match? or did just John come to CA?
