He was born in Stockton on Jan. 1, 1922, to the late Toyoki and Ushio Ojima. Ojima was a resident of Yolo County for 61 years. He was a lifetime farmer in the area and retired in 1987. He is survived by his three children, Mitchel Ojima of Woodland, Dennis Ojima of Fort Collins, Colo., and Marlene Johnson of Woodland; and his six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mizuye Ojima, who died Jan. 19, 1994. Church services will be held at the Buddhist Church of Sacramento Hongwangi Betsuin, 2401 Riverside Blvd. in Sacramento, at 2 p.m. Friday. A burial service will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Monument Hill Memorial Park in Woodland. McNary's Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
