Mr. Pantoja was born in Agua Caliente, Mexico. He lived in Tracy for 51 years. Mr. Pantoja retired after working for six years for H.J. Heinz and Holly Sugar. He was a beet operator. He also worked as a laborer for Southern Pacific Railroad. Mr. Pantoja was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Survivors: children, Ramon Pantoja Jr., Rudy Pantoja, John Pantoja and Beatrice Sisneroz, all of Tracy, Rose Romo of Gridley, and Raquel Lomas Fouse of Marseille, France; brother, Joe Pantoja of Modesto; 21 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Services: rosary, 7 p.m. Monday, Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave. Mass, 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave. Visitation: noon to 7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
