    3. Do you already have his death certificate? Did it indicate that the death was reported to the coroner? I would imagine a letter to the Coroner's office which is probably available on the San Joaquin county website would probably get you details on how to obtain the records. I researched one recently in Stanislaus county and if the person was a relative they would copy the file and provide it free of cost; otherwise there was a charge per page; the office here had an index on fiche and I believe the records had been filmed but this was a death in the last decade. Depending on his usual residence, an obituary could appear in the Stockton Records, Lodi News Sentinel, Tracy Press or Manteca Bulletin. Did he live in Stockton or one of the other towns? ----- Original Message ----- From: Linda Hall Castle <blc535587@thegrid.net> To: <CASANJOA-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, November 02, 2000 5:20 PM Subject: [CASANJOA] Robert Patrick Hall > Posted on: SanJoaquin County Queries > Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ca/SanJoaquin/211 > > Surname: Hall, Swashta > ------------------------- > > I am looking for info on Robert Patrick Hall dob march 17, 1888 in Santa > Clara and dod is Nov 18, 1942 at San Joaquin General Hospital and his parents > was Michael Hall & Clara Swashta. > Looking for more info on this family and is there an obit on Robert?
