I would be interested to know you Scarles ancestors. I have quite a list of my families wing of the Scarles, but your mother having come to Canada since WWII (right?) I have some names coming down to about the beginning of WWII. Also I have contact with a Valerie Scarles in England who has been doing a single name study on Scarles (her husband Ronald Scarles) all the various branches. My mother was Betty B Scarles(born Oakland, Calif.), her father Norman H. B. Scarles(born in New South Wales, Aus.), his father John C. Scarles(born in Birmingham,Eng.) his father Benjamin C.
