Hi I just returned from viewing the VietNam Memorial wall in Lodi. It will be on display thru Aug 2nd. It is located off Hwy 99 at the Harney Lane exit. Cherokee Memorial park cemetery. Follow the signs to the entrance... it is open 24 hours until it closes to go to next stop. It was very moving to view all those young mens names. I got rubbings (supplies provided free) of the men I wanted. There are military equipment displays, and Cherokee is going to start a new "park" for veterans (I think that is what she said, only military, fire, police,etc., but may be wrong).. there are three beautiful bronzes in honor of those who have served the country in one way or another. You should see them... just beautiful! If you get a chance to come by... please do so... it's 24 hours and well lit... so arrival time is not a problem. They are in process of reading all the names of the men from CA (over 5,000)... they were on Colton, CA (going by city) when I was there this morning. This would be a wonderful field trip for students.
