COLUMBIA, SC---A memorial service for Willis Wannamaker Smith, 69, was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2000 at Hillcrest Abby West in Savannah, GA. Shives Funeral Home is in charge. Mr. Smith of COLUMBIA, died Monday, May 29, 2000 in Palmetto Baptist Medical Center. Born in ORANGEBURG, SC, he was the son of the late Monty Smith & Willis Burden Smith. He worked as an inspector with the S. C. Health Department. Mr. Smith was a member of the Kilbourne Park Baptist Church. Surviving are his nieces, Diana Mincy of POOLER, GA, Linda Gargole of RIPON, CA; nephews, Douglas Smith of GARDEN CITY, GA, Monte Smith of MAGNOLIA, TX, Malcolm Smith of RINCON, GA, & Gary Smith of SPRINGFIELD, GA.
