Excuse me Barbara, but you asked for information and I gave you a website where you could search early CA deaths. Yes the website is a paid site but it also has free entry - you just have to give them a name and email address....the website provided is FREE for CA deaths, yes you have to navigate and deal with popup messages but if you really want death dates it's where you should go to look. I'm just a volunteer trying to help those that post to the list. If you had been on the list for any time you would have seen that all my posts are helpful and they usually involve lookups. I guess I'm really tired of badly written queries that aren't specific as to what data is being searched for and your little message below wasn't welcomed. You obviously have found some 1880 census information, probably for FREE off the LDS site and instead of seeing if these people still are in the area in 1900, 1910 etc. you ask for any information 1880 - ? SO I gave you a website but I admit that I didn't specify what you could find there - but's it's been shared before on this list - have you searched the archives of the list to see if anyone else has every inquired about your surnames?
