Mrs. Evans was a native of California and a resident of Stockton since 1925. She was a housekeeper for Mr. John Humphrey. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Nelsons of Beaverton, Ore., and Judy Garibaldi of Stockton; a son, Charles Evans of Stockton; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at East Union Cemetery, Manteca. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday in DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N.
