Census: 1920 Federal Census San Joaquin County, California O'Neal Township, 5th Precinct, Stockton City, #800 Ellis #108-108 SCONCE William, age 58, MO MO MO Express man/general Carrie, age 37, wife, WA IA OR I am a SCONCE from MO, and am hoping that this Wm. is the brother to my ggrandfather, John H.C. SCONCE. The William SCONCE that belongs to me, is about this age in 1920, and was the son of Daniel W. SCONCE, SR and Julia MARIOTT from MO/AR. My Williams full name was William Daniel Mariott [WDM] SCONCE. Family legend has always been that our Wm. SCONCE headed for California. Is this Wm. in the Census MINE, or should I keep searching? If this one is mine, this wife is a 3rd wife, since I see that she was born in WA. I have info on the other 2.... If you know of this Wm.
