They lived in Tulare Co., Ca. but I think started in French Camp. The William Blankenship's Stayed in French Camp for a while then moved to Tulare Co. I don't know to many children of the Children on William and Melissa other than what I've found in the Census material. According to one Census John had Children Ewell, Roy or Ray and Gladys but I don't know if I have the right John Blankenship. There seems to be Two John's in Tualre Co. In one obit of the Parents it states the John was in Fresno in 1920. The son of William and Melissa seems to have a couple or several middle intials so...... Have john as John Richard in family records but He is known as John A. also. There is a John Burl Blankenship in the LDS files married to a Lena Gilbert who is stated on the file as in San Joaquin Co., Ca. so I don't really know if my John is this John Burl. I'm hoping for some answers thru this Message board and Tulare Co. also. Are you related to any Blankenship? Hope to hear from some one who knows. Maybe you do?? Shaun Carson
