PARKINSON SERVICES TODAY; WELL-KNOWN WOMAN SUCCUMBED AT ODD FELLOWS HOME LAST THURSDAY Funeral servces will be held this afternoon at 2:30 in the chapel of Hale and Bawden for Mrs. Cynthia Parkinson. Rev. W. L. Mellinger will conduct the ceremony and interment will be in Lodi Cemetery with officers of Lodi Rebekah lodge in charge of graveside services. Mrs. Parkinson passed away Thursday at the Odd Fellows Home in Saratoga. She was a former resident of Lodi and the widow of the late John Parkinson, who died in 1922. She was the mother of Leland Parkinson of Lodi and George Parkinson of San Jose, and sister of Mrs. Sarah Boyd of Lodi and Mrs. Kate Hattersley of Decota. Born in Volcano, Amador county in 1855, Mrs. Parkinson came to Lodi district in 1904 and lived here until about three years ago when she moved to the Odd Fellows' Home. She held membership in Lodi Christian church and Flora Rebekah lodge of Lodi. (Marriage records show husband as John G. PARKISON. Son Leland's tombstone shows PARKISON. However, burial registers in Lodi show her as PARKINSON).
