Highlights: George FAVINGER was born May 10 1833 in Montgomery County PA. His parents were Samuel and Margaret (RYAN/RAHN) FAVINGER, both natives of PA. George was the only one out of a family of 10 who came to CA. At 13 he went to OH and then to MI, staying until 1869 when he went to Wyoming Territory. On the second of May, 1870 he started for CA. He settled about three miles north of Lockeford, six miles northeast of Lodi. He was married in 1854 in OH to Miss Anna M. BARRETT.
