Wilson, a 30-year Davis resident, died on Feb. 21, 2000, at Sutter Davis Hospital in Davis. Born on Dec. 14, 1951, in Lodi, he was 49 years old. Steven was raised in Lodi and graduated from Lodi High School. He attended UC Davis and graduated with a bachelor's degree. He worked for the Yolo County Health Department for several years before opening Splash Pool Care Co. in Davis, which he had operated for the past several years. He is survived by his parents, Francis and Virginia Wilson of Lodi. He also leaves his brother, Larry Wilson of Sacramento and his wife Rhonda; and nephews, Blair Wilson of Colorado and Benjamin Wilson of Germany. Friends are invited to attend a funeral at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Davis Funeral Chapel, 116 D St. Burial will follow the service at the Davis Cemetery. Remembrances may be made in Steven's name to the Shriners' Hospital for Children, 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95817; or to the charity of the donor's choice.
