Hi all... just to let you all know what is happening re the old state hospital cemetery site: 1. The Stockton city Attorneys office has the ball at the moment.. trying to determine what went wrong and why. 2. Barbara Matthews office referred it to the Stockton City Administrator. 3. Mayor Podesto's office forwarded the information to the City Council for further review. 4. One of the listers here found the location of the death/burial index. Now the State Archives is trying to figure out if we can "weed" these from the medical records legally. I also have this before other departments.. including the city council. 5. I have been extracting stories from the Stockton Record, Daily & Evening Mail, Weekly Mail, etc.. all those old Stockton papers. Some very sad & some very informative stories. Will put on web page when time permits (I am revamping my pages into one large area, as it is toooo jumbled now). So.. the ball is in the Stockton City Attorney / Stockton City Council's court.
