He died in Stockton, CA June 18, 1997. He was born Leondor Britt Yates in 1928 or 1929. His SSN application states January 13, 1928. His death information states 1929. His mother's name was Nina Mae McIntyre from Tulsa, OK. She was born March 20, 1906 in Tulsa and died January 6, 1966 in Los Angeles, CA. She married my father, Jack (Britt)Lawrence Yates around 1927 in OK. Shortly after Douglas was born in Ohio, Nina and my father separated and she moved to Hanford, CA. Douglas applied for a SSN at age 16 to work for the Merchant Marines. This is about all I know of Douglas and his mother. I would like see if Douglas had any children and meet them if possible.
