I've "rescued" an old photograph of Mrs. J. D. PARKER'S son who was 3 months old at the time the photograph was taken in the 1890's at the E. W. Spencer Studio in Lodi, CA. In addition to the name and age, Mrs. PARKER has written "our sage brush boy" on the back of the photograph. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding this family: Ralph D. PARKER was b. 27 Apr 1898 to parents Joseph Douglas or Douglass PARKER (b. 20 Dec 1852 in Mokelumne Hill, CA-1926) and Minerva HARTLEY (b. Sept 1869 in Arkansas-1956). Ralph had one sibling, a brother Ray Hartley PARKER (1903-1962). Ralph appears to have married twice, once to Mina or Myna BAYNE TODHUNTER ENNIS (1888-1976 or 1979) and a second time to Marguerita Ann GAUTHIER (d. 1979). Ralph died 21 Jul 1983 in Toronto, Canada or San Joaquin Co., CA and is buried in the Harmony Grove Cemetery in Lockeford, CA. Census records provide the following details: 1900 census of Elliot, CA: Joseph PARKER, age 47, born Dec 1852, married 4 years, born CA, parents born KY, a Day Laborer Minerva PARKER, wife, age 30, born Sept 1869, married 4 years, 1 child/1 living Ralph PARKER, son, age 2, born Apr 1898, born CA 1910 census of Elliot, CA: Joseph D. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
