I've "rescued" an old photograph of Mamie IVERSON BAUGE which was taken at the A. L. Shager Studio in Dows, IA. The photograph appears to have been taken in the early 1900's with Mamie just an infant at the time. Someone has also written "For Richard BAUGE" on the back of the photograph as well. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Mamie and her family: Mamie Luella IVERSON was b. 28 Mar 1902 in Dows, IA to Adolph Olous IVERSON (1877-1972) and Emelia or Amelia Alvina DRAVES (1881-1969). She was the first of 5 children born to this couple and grew up on a farm southeast of Dows, IA. Mamie's siblings included Elwood IVERSON (1905-1992) and Viola Ardella BERGESON (1914-2015) Ilene A. IVERSON (b. 1918 in Iowa) and Arlene M. IVERSON (b. 1918 in Iowa). Mamie married Delbert Lewis BAUGE (b. 1893-d. 8 Nov 1981) on 14 Feb 1929 in Dows, IA and they had two sons including, Kenneth Leroy BAUGE b. 17 Jun 1930 in Morgan, IA and Richard Vernon BAUGE b. 8 Nov 1936 or 1937 in Lincoln, IA. Mamie lived in Ellsworth, IA and Radcliffe, IA for 26 years before moving to Ames, IA in 1955. Mamie died 15 Jun 1993 in Ames, IA and she was buried at the Ames Municipal Cemetery in Ames, IA. Her son Richard was living in St. Louis, MO at the time of his Mother's death. Her obituary includes two surviving sisters, Viola BERGESON and Arlene ASHMORE both of Ames, IA and a third sister, Ilene WILHELM of Lathrop, CA.
