I've "rescued" an old photograph including members of the SCHECKLER, HONOLD, WOODS, and MOHR Families. The eight people in the photograph are identified below along with the information I was able to find from a brief search of records: Grandpa SCHECKLER - Grandma BRENNAN'S Father (believed to be Frederick SCHECKLER) . Fred SCHECKLER was b. 1853 in Chicago, IL to parents John Gottlieb August SCHECKLER (b. 1827) and Anna Mary "Mariana" BIRCH (1826-1896). Fred was one of 12 children born to this couple including John Gottlieb Jr (b. 1851); Fred; Anna Mary (1855-1928); Fredericka (b. 1858); William F. (1860-1946); August J. (b. 1863); and Carl (b. 1865) SCHECKLER. Fred married Mary MEYERS (b. 1857) b. Kenosha Co WI. Fred and Mary had a son Gordon F. or Clarence SCHECKLER b. 21 Apr 1889 and died 23 May 1960 in Stockton, CA. They also had a son Richard SCHECKLER who in 1921 married a widow Ethel MOORE (dau of George WILSON and Margurite LUTTE) in Stockton, CA Aunt Kate HONOLD - Lucille ROSS' Grandma (believed to be Kate MEYERS HONOLD) . Katie MEYERS was b. Nov 1861 in Wisconsin to parents Peter MEYERS (b. 1834) and Dorethea MEYERS (b. 1842). Katie was one of 5 children born to this couple including, Katie; Dorethea (b. 1863); Mary (b. 1866); Maggie (b. 1870); and Peter (b. 1877) MEYERS. Katie married Phillip HONOLD (b. 1853) and together they had two children, Mamie Mary (b. 1883) and George Eugene (1889-1958) HONOLD.
