I have an old musty photo album that I got from my dad who got it from his dad. I've only been able to get about 5-10 pictures out of the album without tearing the pictures. I tried "sawing" the pictures out with sewing thread but that doesn't seem to work very good. I'm hoping that something is written on the backs but nothing is on the few I've been able to remove. Any ideas how to get the pictures out of the album? In most cases, all four corners of the pictures are flush with the heavy paper of the album. Most of these pictures, I think, were taken in/around Stockton, CA just before WW I, then some pictures in/near Ft. Lewis, WA during the war and finally back in Stockton after the war. In a very few pictures I'm able to identify my grandfather, my grandmother and a couple other people. Most of the people go unidentified. Any suggestions for posting them somewhere for others to see and try to identify. Again, these pictures are of people mostly in/around Stockton, San Joaquin County, CA. I know this is a shot in the dark. Thanks in advance Bill Dillon in MD
