    1. [CASANJOA] Ballou/Ballow Family
    2. Wilberg Family
    3. I am looking for any record of the death of John Franklin Ballou/Ballow in 1883 (obituary, notice of death, etc.). He is buried in what appears to be a family plot at the Oakdale Citizens Cemetery in Oakdale, Stanislaus. The headstone indicates that he was born in 1821 (Virginia) and died in 1883. The cemetery does not have any a further records on his death. I know that he was in Stockton, San Joaquin on the 1880 Census and was also there in the 1882 City Directory. I am trying to determine if he died in Oakdale, or in Stockton, and was then taken to Oakdale for burial. I understand there is a database at the San Joaquin County Recorders office that might have information on this family, or the ones listed below. Also looking for information on the Spencer Alfred Wilcox/Ada (Adaline) Ballou Wilcox Family. Spencer Wilcox is listed on the CADI as dying 10/2/51 in San Joaquin, California. Would like to determine where Spencer and hopefully, Ada, might be buried. Other families I am researching are the Womble, Deardorff, Patison, Hampton, Reyer, and Turner Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. Diana

    3. Hi.. if anyone out there has a KNOWN person buried or who died at the Stockton State Hospital between 1858-1919, I would love to know about it.. I am still looking for the list of names.. and St Joseph's Hospital (where the cemetery was) says only some common burials, no stones. I have names of several who were moved (including stones) from that cemetery to Rural.. Think it may help my quest to have some who know that they had family member/s there..
