I spent a day of my vacation this past week in Stockton, San Joaquin county, California looking for my DILLON ancestors. While looking at the various tombstones in the Stockton Catholic Cemetery, I couldn't help but notice how many SAGUINETTI graves I saw. There must have been between 50 and 100 SAGUINETTI graves. I'm sorry, but I didn't get a mailing address or telephone number for the cemetery. I'm sure you can find same on the Internet though. Hope this helps someone Bill Dillon

An obituary would tell you the names of surviving children.....what was Mrs. Edgar Hightower's address at the time of John's death? did the wife Anna survive him or don't you know what happened to her? I would say it's a good possibility that this is the John Hightower you are searching for - the birth information is given by the informant and it's possible that she didn't know the exact year of his birth....but the birthday is correct.....glad to see you left a message on the CADI website - maybe another Hightower researcher will contact you..... are any of the Edgar Hightower listings in CADI a match? or did just John come to CA? I am looking for info on Evelyn Marie Mathews. She was born May 12, 1896 in California and died February 21, 1972 in French Camp, San Joaquin county, California. She married Otto Satchuell Dillon, probably before 1912, probably in San Joaquin county, California. Together, they had two girls. Dulce Dillon (born September 15, 1912 in San Joaquin county, California and died February 21, 1972 in San Joaquin county, California. I know that is the same death date as her mother but I'm not sure which is correct. Elizabeth Dillon (born January 3, 1914) Otto and Evelyn divorced (in 1917 I think).
