Hello! I'm looking for Levi HIGGS, born 1833 in Tennessee and died 1899 in San Francisco. I don't have the exact date. Supposedly he was never married, had a gold mine, and traveled the world. I find that hard to believe :) Thanks for any and all help! Colby Higgs

Hi Colby, Guess Levi was traveling when the 1880 census was taken - he is not listed anywhere in ALL of California. I also looked for him in the index for 1880 census for the entire country. Not listed anywhere - so maybe he did travel the world! Luck!
