I have some old photos that my grandmother saved from the Earthquake and Fire in 1906 that were taken at JW Baker. These were mostly taken in the 1890s. Unfortunately none are identified. But at that time the studio was at 18 - 3rd Street. Of course all was lost in the fire after the earthquake. Bur perhaps Baker started up again. Someone with access to the San Francisco Directories from 1900 on could tell better. "rwalker" > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Subject: [CASANFRA] J.W. Baker? The address would be 1028 Market St. (San Francisco). I found this written on the bottom (front side) of a photo (circa 1900-1920). > Lisa
