Laguna Honda School, Historical Sketch, SF Muni Report 1879-80 This school is located on Eighth avenue, near K avenue, in a wooden building, containing tow pleasant rooms. It contains pupils of nearly all the Grammar and Primary grades. There are seventy-seven pupils in attendance at present. This school was instituted in August, 1869, in a rented room on the old Ocean Beach road. It was transferred to its present location in 1872.
