    3. Hello list members, I have a question re: St. Brendan's Catholic Church. My cousin, the late Rev. John Nugent was the founder of this church in 1879 and it was located at Fremont and Harrison streets until at least 1919. Today, there is another St. Brendan's Church located off of Laguna Honda Blvd., stated to be established in 1929 by the late Father John M. Ryan. Does anyone know what happened to the original St. Brendan's church and also - is the "new" St. Brendan's Church a replacement for the old one or a completely different entity? I have noted that the old St. Brendan's Church would be right where the freeway entrance is now located to get on the Bay Bridge. Perhaps it was torn down for construction purposes - ? Any advice or comments greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Sue O'Donnell _________________________________________________________________ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com
