The SF Public Library Library has a wonderful service that provides free obituary look-ups on request. (Their Web site, for those of you who may be unfamiliar: http://www.sfpl.org). Do any of you know if other libraries (Sonoma, Orange/LA, Oakland/Alameda) in California offer similar services? Also, are their obituary indexes online or CD ROMS available?
