Hi Cindy - Here is a voter registration (Foreign born Voters) site for 1872... http://feefhs.org/cgi-bin/w4ais This San Francisco Call Data Base lists only the Foreign born voter but when you get the copy from Jim F, the page has the non foreign born voters also listed. Can't hurt to look for you family here and see what pops up. I have Voter Registrations for my family that came from the CA room at the State Library, in Sacramento for: 1890, 1892, 1896, 1898, 1900 & 1909 - You might want to go to this web site: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~yvonne/NORCAL%20index/ select Table of Contents - then select Voting Records - here you will find a complete story on what years had these Voting Records and where they can be found.
