I have an old newspaper clipping of my great-grandmother's from The Morning Call sometime before 1906, I believe.I thought you might find it interesting: "They Won't Believe It I have been telling people here some of the sights I saw in America. They are not willing to believe the Palace Hotel in San Francisco is so large a building as I say. I wish THE MORNING CALL would state what is the length,breadth and height of it, and how many rooms it contains; also, what is the length and width of the bay, and the width of the narrowest part of the Golden Gate.
