Getting Published: Views from the Editorial Desk with Michael Grossberg & Sheila Levine Michael Grossberg (Professor of History & Law, Indiana University, and Editor, American Historical Review) is the author of the prize-winning Governing the Hearth: Law and the Family in Nineteenth-Century America as well as numerous other books and articles on legal and social history. He has also published several articles on scholarly editing, is a founder of the recently created History Cooperative, an electronic publishing project devoted to historical scholarship, and is currently serving a term as president of the Conference of Historical Journals. Sheila Levine (Assistant Director/Editorial and Production, University of California Press) has worked for UC Press for 30 years. She is responsible for acquisitions, editing, design, and production, and is also an acquiring editor for Asian studies and European history. Her latest venture is a series of books on food and culture. Please join us at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 8th, in 3335 Dwinelle Hall.
