    3. Margie, It would seem to me that any "list" of those cremated remains is public record. Therefore, all you need to do is send a request under the California Public Records Act, requesting to 1) review or 2) receive a copy for a copying fee. I don't know why these counties keep doing this. This is all public record. Those cremations were paid for by public funds, the county hospitals were all paid for by public funds. The public has a right to access these types of records WITHOUT restrictions. A patients right to privacy dies with the patient.
