I plugged it into "Babel Fish" for a translation and came up with this: "Hello, I am French and I search of documentation on an uncle of my father who was called Xavier MEFRET and who was a director of the "FRENCH AND ENGLISH INSTITUTE" in San Francisco in 1882.
