An interesting item on the Coroner's report for the 1925 death of my 8 year old uncle was that the truck driver was Carl Kamp, a 16 year old boy with "2 years experience as a driver". Was there a minimum driving age in SF in 1925? Did people have to pass a driver's test and get a license back then? Carl's dad owned the truck, my uncle said it was a coal or ice company, I forget which. Linda Hamid
