Now this is a real shame. The Musee Mecanique is such a part of every San Franciscan's childhood - the only things left for public view from Playland at the Beach. They should be bought by the City for permanent display.I'm really upset after reading the article! Being someone who watches antique shows on tv, I realize that the collection could be sold for an amazingly great deal of money but so many people and their children will be losing such a great example of San Francisco history.I hope the Zelinskis will change their minds on this.
